Álbum de estreia dos Queen em reedição volumosa

No dia 25 de outubro, vai ser reeditado o álbum de estreia dos Queen, “Queen”, numa caixa de seis CD, um vinil, um livro de 108 páginas com letras escritas à mão e memorabilia.

Citado pelo comunicado da editora Universal, o guitarrista dos Queen, Bryan May, destaca a qualidade de remasterização que o disco reeditado mereceu: “com as possibilidades da tecnologia atual, conseguimos alcançar o som que queríamos em 1973”.

Esta edição volumosa é uma escavadela à faixa temporal inicial da banda de Freddie Mercury, entre 1971 e 1974, das maquetas ao disco de 1973 propriamente dito e às gravações ao vivo do ano subsequente.

Este período entre 1971 e 1974 é o menos conhecido dos Queen para o grande público, com quem se enlaçou a partir do álbum “A Night at the Opera” (de 1975) e da canção ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’, de forma irreversível.

‘The Night Comes Down’ é a canção escolhida como single promocional desta reedição e vai merecer um videoclipe a ser estreado na próxima sexta-feira, dia 13.
