Fleet Foxes: novo disco na chegada do outono

Os Fleet Foxes lançaram hoje, dia 22 de setembro, um novo disco. O álbum chama-se "Shore" e foi lançado às 14h31, precisamente a hora da mudança de estação. É o quarto disco da banda norte-americana.

"Shore" segue o rasto de "Crack-Up" (2017) e foi gravado em várias cidades (Nova Iorque, Los Angeles, Paris, Hudson e Long Island) entre 2018 e 2020.

"O álbum já está cá fora! É o resultado de um trabalho intenso, de dois anos de amor. Estou entusiasmado por agora pertencer ao mundo, tão pouco tempo depois de o termos terminado. Espero que seja uma lufada de ar fresco de 55 minutos neste oceano de más notícias. Este álbum foi quase posto de parte em abril, mas estou feliz que tenha sido terminado no verão, por poder partilhá-lo e por ter mais tempo para fazer ainda mais música. Haverá outras canções em breve", lê-se nas redes oficiais do coletivo de Robin Pecknold.

Album is out! This one was an intense two-year labor of love and I’m elated that it’s out in the world now, so soon after we finished it. Really hope it can be a 55 minute life-preserver in this ocean of bad news. This album was almost abandoned back in April but I’m so glad it came together how it did over the summer, so glad to share it, and so glad to have some time now to make even more music, other songs that will soon enough live alongside it. Thank you so much to Kersti Jan Werdal for making an incredible full-length 16mm film companion to this album.
