Bruce Springsteen, Hozier ou Jessie Buckley num disco de tributo a Shane MacGowan, o frontman dos Pogues
"20th Century Paddy - The Songs of Shane MacGowan" sai em novembro.
Shane MacGowan – o carismático frontman dos Pogues que morreu em 2023 – vai ser homenageado com um álbum que inclui as participações de Bruce Springsteen, Hozier e da atriz irlandesa Jessie Buckley que também é cantora.
O álbum também terá canções nas vozes de Tom Waits, Primal Scream, Steve Earle, David Gray, The Jesus and Mary Chain, The Libertines e a modelo Kate Moss.
O ator Johnny Depp cantará uma versão com a cantora Imelda May.
O disco – intitulado "20th Century Paddy - The Songs of Shane MacGowan" – foi apresentado com uma versão que o norte-americano Springsteen fez do tema 'A Rainy Night In Soho' (de 1986).
A edição de "20th Century Paddy - The Songs of Shane MacGowan" tem edição agendada para novembro.
Shane MacGowan morreu em 2023, aos 65 anos.
